After months of extensive testing and seeing many specialists, Beau was diagnosed with the GNAO1 genetic mutation at just 9 months of age. Beau suffers from the movement side of this disorder and often has uncontrolled movements along with developmental delays. Even though he spends five days a week working with therapists, Beau cannot yet walk, talk, sit up, eat or play independently. However, just because he cannot talk, Beau has no problem expressing his love for baseball, Elmo, his big brother, Everett, bowling and his friends at school!
